Happy 4th Babe

To my beautiful daughter on her 4th birthday. I want you to know how much you mean to us and how much I love you.
Even though at the young age of 4, I feel like you know beyond your years. Somedays I want to freeze time. I want you to stay this sweet little babe of mine.
Yes thats number one; You will always be my babe, as the first born I see you just the same as when I first heard your cry in the operating room; telling you "the worst is over".
We made it. (March 6, 2014)
Its hard to comprehend that you have been here for 4 years. It is equally as hard to imagine how our life was without you. First born, you changed my life forever, by making me your "Mama" or most recently in your words "Can I call you Mummy" (Peppa pig). You recently asked Daddy "Did you pick me", and he answered you "yes we did". I do believe yes; we did pick you. I dreamt about you all the time and now looking back you have exceeded
all of those pregnancy dreams!

You are beautiful inside and out.

You have the biggest heart and would give your last toy to anyone who was feeling sad.

You're a perfectionist, if you don't get it the first time you will try over and over until it is perfect in your eyes.

You're strong willed.

You don't give up easily, and always have a "better idea" when I say maybe later (playground time).

You are the best big sister to your little brother who adores you more than anything else in this world.

You do your best when it matters.

You tell me that I'm your best friend at least twice a day.

Your manners are impeccable, even to strangers who give you compliments on your fashion choices.

This past year you started something totally new: DANCE! Every week getting you ready and taking you was such a joy for me. Peaking through the window at pickup was the best. I'm not sure who was more excited to come pick you up, your brother or myself! The recital was a beyond a proud moment for me. You did it! You got out there in front of so many people and did your best! Which actually blew our socks off, who knew this whole year you had a 2 whole routines up your sleeve!

Amelia, or Frances as you have now told us to call you, you are the highlight of my everyday.
Don't ever stop being you. You have a heart of gold, and the sweetest spirit I have ever come across.
We love you more than words can express.
Happy 4th Birthday babe.
